University Stays – Sleep smarter in Sydney on New Year’s Eve
Rooms in Sydney are selling fast but there are still good options available even for the budget traveller.
Sydney hotels and hostels are never busier than on New Year’s Eve. A quick look at hotel booking websites reveals most city hotel rooms are already booked or cost a small fortune. Hostels have limited beds available on the night of 31 December but often require a fourteen night minimum stay.
An interesting alternative is a stay in a student room at a University College close to the city centre and viewing spots for the fireworks. The colleges are often located in beautiful historic sandstone buildings on the University campus. They come with dining hall, library, common rooms and tranquil gardens for the guest to enjoy.
